2 Corinthians 13

A shepherd can warn, convict the sheep of their sins and ask them to repent of their sins by showing their sins to them. This is not done to tear them down ; but to build them up. This is what Apostle Paul did to the Corinthian church. He wrote the epistle for restoring the Corinthian church fully in Christ as they were not fully restored with Christ. This is a true characteristic of a shepherd. He will try to restore people with Christ and will also strive to bring peace among them. He will call a spade a spade. He will not be a diplomatic talker who talks for the itchy ears.
