Through the Bible: Hebrews 4

This chapter tells us that we have an eternal hope and we should be careful not to backslide (verse 1). The gospel are not useful for those who listen to it without faith. The Israelites thought that Canaan was the final dwelling place for them. But God promises an eternal Canaan and he wants his children to enter it. The 12th verse in this chapter tells us how strong the word of God is. Finally the chapter ends by stamping that Jesus Christ is the only High Priest and we do not need to go through any other intermediary other than him.
